      1. Carbon steel. From a cost point of view, the price of carbon steel is relatively low, and the price of finished products is relatively low, so vacuum furnace processing is a waste, unless high-profit workpieces or workpieces have no machining allowance, which is an expedient when surface quality requirements are high. count.


      2. High temperature is sensitive to nitrogen, and it is easy to form harmful substances. In order to prevent volatilization of alloying elements at high temperatures, vacuum furnaces are usually filled with high-purity nitrogen to maintain the partial pressure at high temperatures, and nitrogen is usually filled for cooling. Therefore, this material should not be processed in a vacuum furnace.


      3. Some materials (workpieces) adopt special technology. For example, in order to obtain better mechanical properties, some workpieces require bainite, which is usually achieved by austempering, which is difficult to achieve in a vacuum heat treatment furnace. Another example is T10 steel, which requires high hardness and low deformation. Generally speaking, it is achieved by water quenching and oil cooling. Although the vacuum furnace can obtain high hardness through high-pressure gas quenching, the deformation is greater due to the faster cooling rate below the millisecond point.


      The above three materials are metal materials that are not suitable for processing in a vacuum furnace. The detailed parameters of the vacuum furnace will be provided before the equipment leaves the factory. Another thing is to remind consumers to clearly tell the manufacturer what configuration customization is required when purchasing the device. In most cases, the equipment cannot be used due to insufficient craftsmanship or configuration. At present, most manufacturers can customize equipment to avoid choosing inappropriate products.
